Our client, a consulting engineering firm specialized in engineering manufacturing plants in pharmaceutical, food processing, and related industrial sectors, is currently looking for a Project Manager in Mechanical Building Services for its Quebec City office.
Nature of position
Working directly under the engineer in charge of the department you will be in charge of designing the various components and systems related to mechanical building services, mainly in the firm’s primary areas of expertise. Specific tasks include:
- Preparing cost estimates, detailed plans and blueprints;
- Planning various building systems (plumbing, heating, ventilation, climate control, sprinklers) related to mechanical building systems;
- Designing various mechanical systems related to the manufacturing systems and procedures in the pharmaceutical and food processing sectors;
- Working closely with engineers and project managers;
- Attending to the preparation of scope of work documents.
Required qualification
- College Diploma (DEC / DCS) in Mechanical Building Services;
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Mechanical Building Services in the consulting engineering sector;
- Working knowledge of CVAC software;
- Excellent working knowledge of Autocad 2D;
- Good oral and written French and English.
