Our client, a consulting firm offering a full range of civil and structural engineering consulting services to public and private sector clients, is currently looking for an Urban Infrastructure Site Supervisor.
Nature of position
Under the supervision of the company's management, you will be responsible for representing the customer in the field and ensuring that the work is carried out correctly and efficiently. As such you will :
- Supervise work in accordance with the plans, specifications and standards in effect for all types of urban engineering projects (sewer, water supply, roads, etc.) ;
- Raise any discrepancies between plans and specific site conditions that may arise during construction ;
- Write site memos and daily reports ;
- Ensure site coordination with other disciplines ;
- Provide technical support to the project management team ;
- Annotate construction drawings to produce as-built drawings ;
- Carry out every other task compatible with your functions.
Required qualification
- DEC or AEC in civil engineering with 2 years' experience or a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction engineering ;
- Possess an attestation card for general health and safety on construction sites (ASP) ;
- Valid driver's license and access to a car ;
- Knowledge of Quebec municipal infrastructure standards (an asset) ;
- Relevant experience in a similar position (an asset).
