Our client, a major manufacturing company, firmly established in Quebec for over 70 years, is currently looking for a maintenance planner.
Nature of position
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Director, your main mandate will be to design plans and programs for routine preventive maintenance as well as for scheduled execution events in the plant. Additionally, you will need to accurately estimate work requests and maintain the tracking system consistently. As such you will see to:
- Plan preventive and corrective maintenance activities;
- Carry out maintenance plans;
- Schedule maintenance shutdowns on equipment;
- Participate in planning annual shutdowns;
- Coordinate interviews with production;
- Estimate the necessary resources (human, material and time);
- Follow up with the warehouse worker so that parts are available to complete planned work orders.
Required qualification
- DEC in industrial maintenance, DEP in electromechanics of automated systems or any other relevant training;
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience;
- Knowledge of interview methods;
- Knowledge of interview methods;
- Have a sense of responsibility and communication skills (written and oral).
