Our client, a major construction contractor specializing in civil engineering work (bridges, overpasses, engineering structures, roads, aqueducts and sewers, etc.) is currently looking for a project manager/estimator.

Nature of position

Under the supervision of the Vice-President Construction, your main mandate will be to carry out the tasks related to the estimation of the projects to be tendered and the management of the contracts to be executed. As such, you will see:

• Prepare bids for tender projects;
• Participate in the management of contracts obtained;
• Manage costs and assess the profitability of its projects;
• Respond to technical requests from construction sites;
• Perform any other tasks compatible with your duties.

Required qualification

• Bachelor degree in civil engineering or construction engineering;
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in civil engineering works;
• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec ;
• Precise and complete knowledge of the rules, policies, procedures, laws and standards in the field of construction;
• Knowledge of MS Office and MS Project;
• French and English bilingualism (spoken and written) will be considered an asset.
