Sales Representative (Electrical and Electronic Equipment)
Our client, an international company specializing in industrial automation solutions and professional and continuing technical training, is a key player in the development of advanced technologies for a wide range of industries. Present in over 60 countries and committed to sustainability and innovation, this organization brings together a team of technical experts, engineers, and designers to transform industrial processes on a global scale. Currently, our client is seeking a Sales Representative.
Nature of position
Under the supervision of the Canadian Sales Director, you will play a key role in defining and implementing the product sales strategy for the territory covering Eastern Canada. As such, your responsibilities will include:
- Define and implement the local sales and marketing strategy in alignment with the company's corporate strategy ;
- Establish and develop partnerships with educational institutions and industrial companies to promote the company’s products ;
- Analyze the market potential in Eastern Canada to identify new clients and assess the needs of current clients to uncover new sales opportunities ;
- Frequently negotiate contracts, pricing, and respond to tenders ;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction;
- Analyze market trends in the education sector and determine their impact to adjust the sales strategy accordingly ;
- Perform any other related tasks associated with your responsibilities.
Required qualification
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the electrical and electronic technology sector ;
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in French and English (daily communication with both French-speaking and English-speaking clients) ;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Strong influencing and negotiation abilities ;
- Willingness to travel within the covered territory (30% of the time).
