Solution Sales Specialist (Dairy Equipment)

Our client, a leading provider of integrated solutions designed to enhance productivity, animal well-being, and the overall quality of life for dairy producers, is currently seeking a Solution Sales Specialist to primarily cover the province of Quebec.

Nature of position

Under the supervision of the District Manager – Canada, you will be responsible for supporting the sales of systems and solutions developed and sold by the company through an established dealer network. You will also coordinate, lead, and act as a trainer and facilitator during group activities and events. In this role, you will:

  • Actively promote new and existing products, marketing tools, campaigns, and activities to dealers and their staff;
  • Provide support and follow-up on dealers' development plans and objectives;
  • Deliver training to dealership personnel on product applications and commercial aspects;
  • Act as a personal coach to dealership sales staff to reinforce best practices and improve results;
  • Conduct performance comparisons and foster healthy competition among sales teams;
  • Gather, disseminate, and leverage market intelligence;
  • Provide feedback and insights on products to relevant colleagues;
  • Communicate proactively with key players, contributors, and institutions in the industry;
  • Perform any other tasks related to your role.

Required qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agronomy, Business Administration, or other relevant field;
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience;
  • Proficiency in French and English (English language skills are preferred for this position, as they are essential for effective communication with suppliers and partners);
  • Competitive, business-oriented profile with a sociable and proactive attitude;
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence others;
  • Initiative-driven, capable of working both independently and in a team environment;
  • Willingness to travel, primarily within Quebec and elsewhere in Canada.
