Technical Sales Representative (HVAC)
Our client, a company specialized in the distribution of HVAC equipment in Québec and the Maritimes, is currently looking for a Technical Sales Representative for the Greater Montréal Area.
Nature of position
Reporting to the Vice President of Commercial Affairs, you will be responsible for all activities related to the sale of the company's products to consulting engineering firms, mechanical contractors, real estate developers, and institutional clients. In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical representation to clients (mechanical contractors, consulting engineering firms, institutional clients, and real estate developers);
- Promoting the range of HVAC products and recommending solutions tailored to clients' applications;
- Selecting equipment;
- Preparing quotes and technical drawings;
- Conducting client visits, technical presentations, and project follow-ups;
- Managing projects and orders;
- Monitoring ongoing and upcoming projects in your territory;
- Meeting sales objectives and contributing to the growth of the territory;
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HVAC products, standards, and market trends;
- Performing any other duties consistent with the role.
Required qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Building Mechanical Systems;
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience;
- Knowledge of HVAC products and systems;
- Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written;
- Strong communication skills;
- Valid driver's license.
