Solutions Sales Specialist (Dairy Equipment)

Our client, a leading provider of integrated solutions designed to enhance production, animal welfare, and the overall quality of life of dairy producers, is currently seeking a Solutions Sales Specialist to primarily cover the province of Ontario.

Nature of position

Reporting to the District Manager – Ontario & Maritimes, you will be responsible for supporting the sales of the company's systems and solutions through its established dealer network. You will also coordinate and facilitate group activities and events while serving as a trainer and facilitator. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Actively promote new and existing products, marketing tools, campaigns and activities to dealerships and personnel;
  • Support and follow-up of dealer development plans and objectives;
  • Deliver trainings to dealership personnel the application and commercial aspects of product offering;
  • Act as one-to-one coach for dealership sales personnel, reinforcing best practices and results;
  • Benchmark and create emulation between sales personnel;
  • Assemble, disseminate and leverage market intelligence;
  • Provide product observations and feedback to applicable colleagues;
  • Proactive communication with industry influentials, contributors, and institutions alike;
  • Perform any other tasks compatible with your duties.

Required qualification

  • B.A./B.S. in Animal Science, Sales, Marketing or other relevant degree;
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience;
  • Competitive, business-oriented profile with a sociable and proactive attitude;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence others;
  • Self-starter capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment;
  • Availability to travel, primarily within Ontario and elsewhere across Canada;
  • Proficiency in French (spoken and written) will be considered an asset.
