Our client, a consulting engineering firm firmly established in Quebec for over 20 years, carrying out projects in infrastructure, buildings, industrial, construction, transportation, water treatment, and the environment, is currently seeking an Industrial Electrical Engineer to support its continued growth.

Nature of position

Under the supervision of the Industrial Electrical Director, your main mandate will be to actively participate in the execution of various projects, from plan design through to project completion. The industrial electrical team works on a wide range of interesting projects, both small- and large-scale. In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Participating in industrial electrical design for various projects of different scales;
• Identifying client needs and seeking innovative solutions;
• Contributing to the production of plans and specifications, expert reports, and other documents;
• Ensuring the technical design and management of the projects under your responsibility;
• Providing follow-up and support during construction, both from the office and on-site;
• Performing any other tasks compatible with your duties.

Required qualification

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or automated production engineering;
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience;
• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, control diagrams, and technical documents;
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards;
• Ability to work as part of a team, autonomy, initiative, and thoroughness.
