Our client, a major provider of integrated solutions designed to improve production, animal well-being, and the overall quality of life of dairy producers, is currently seeking a Technical Services Specialist to cover primarily the regions of the St. Lawrence Valley and Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean.
Nature of position
Under the supervision of the Technical Services Director, your mandate will be to assist in resolving technical support issues through the dealer network. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting company field staff and dealer employees in addressing technical questions related to the products;
- Recording and responding to inquiries in a timely manner;
- Providing classroom technical training and certification to field personnel and dealer staff;
- Maintaining a strong customer focus in daily activities;
- Providing on-call service as assigned on a rotational basis by the Technical Services Director;
- Performing any other tasks compatible with your role.
Required qualification
- College diploma (DEC) in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electronics, Industrial Maintenance, or vocational diploma (DEP) in Electromechanics of Automated Systems, or other relevant training;
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience;
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic systems;
- Good computer literacy;
- Experience in network design and/or troubleshooting is an asset;
- Willingness to travel within Quebec (25% to 40% travel required);
- Strong customer service orientation;
- Excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone;
- Fluency in spoken and written French; proficiency in English will be considered an asset.
