Our client, a manufacturing company specializing in the production of parts for the automotive sector and serving clients in North America, Europe, and Asia, is currently seeking a Production Supervisor for its state-of-the-art facilities.

Nature of position

Under the supervision of the Operations Director's Coordinator, your main mandate will be to supervise and coordinate all activities related to production to ensure efficient product manufacturing while maintaining quality. You will be responsible for managing production teams, planning operations, and optimizing processes to meet company objectives. In this role, you will:

• Manage labor, machinery, and material requirements to ensure smooth daily plant operations;
• Ensure coordination and monitoring of daily manufacturing activities, production supervisors, and technical experts assigned to your sector;
• Oversee equipment performance and reliability, ensuring that preventive maintenance is carried out according to established schedules;
• Manage raw materials and finished products in collaboration with production planning, with the goal of optimizing inventory and meeting delivery deadlines;
• Manage work schedules, including time off and vacations, to maintain continuous production aligned with operational needs;
• Ensure employee training, evaluate performance, and make appropriate recommendations;
• Enforce company policies while ensuring a safe working environment for all staff;
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing waste and optimizing production costs;
• Promote clear and effective communication with teams and internal stakeholders;
• Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure optimal coordination of operations;
• Perform any other tasks compatible with your duties.

Required qualification

• Relevant education in management or a related field;
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant management experience in a manufacturing environment;
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance;
• Proficiency with standard computer tools.
